He described Expo 2023 Doha as a pivotal addition to Qatar's portfolio of initiatives aimed at securing a safer and more sustainable future for the people of the world.
Sheikh Mohammed's speech went beyond just welcoming attendees to this monumental event. He used the platform to issue a heartfelt call to action, particularly considering the current environmental crises and catastrophes affecting our planet.
"In times where mankind is affected by unfortunate disasters and catastrophes resulting from our disrespect for our planet and the irresponsible exploitation of natural resources," he declared, "we seek through this global exhibition serious initiatives and partnerships that restore hope for us and future generations."
