Celebrating National Day of the Republic of Cuba at Expo 2023 Doha

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests including His Excellency, Commissioner General Bader Omar Al Dafa, His Excellency, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Cuba Perez Brito, and His Excellency, Secretary General of Expo 2023 Doha Mohammed Ali Al- Khoori. National day festivities commenced with speeches expressing gratitude for the long-lasting diplomatic relations between the two nations at the International Stage in the International Zone of Expo 2023 Doha.

Following the opening ceremony, esteemed guests were treated to a comprehensive tour of the Cuba pavilion where they explored the engaging exhibitions and displays that highlighted environmental conservation and renewable energy programs. The Cuba Pavilion promoted the country’s dedication to sustainability and rich cultural heritage.

The Cuban National Day concluded with a mesmerizing display of traditional Cuban music and dance in the Cultural Arena of Expo 2023 Doha, which elevated the joyous mood and gave Expo 2023 Doha attendees a glimpse into the vibrant and lively culture of Cuba. The lively showcase of Cuban culture had the audience up on their feet, joining in on the festivities as they danced the night away!
