Expo 2023 Doha participated in the Qatar CSR Summit, as one of its official partners. Expo 2023 Doha was represented by Communications and Events manager Hayfa Al Otaibi, who gave a presentation that included an overview of Expo and Qatar's initiatives for social responsibility, as well as the initiatives of the Qatar Conference for Social Responsibility.
Hosted by Qatar University as part of the Qatar CSR National Program, Qatar CSR Summit will serve as a platform for local and international CSR experts and professionals to discuss how public and private organizations can use CSR to integrate economic, social, and environmental objectives with their operations.
The theme of Expo 2023 Doha is "Green Desert, Better Environment" and it aims to encourage sustainable innovation and reduce desertification. It will inspire visitors to take part in the change through 4 sub-themes which are Modern Agriculture, Technology and Innovation, Environmental Awareness, and Sustainability.
