Ethiopia Inaugurates its Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha

To mark the inauguration of the Ethiopian Pavilion, His Excellency Mesganu Arga, the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, and Ambassador Feysel Aliye, Ethiopia's representative in Qatar, descended upon Expo Doha 2023 on December 10th. Their visit began with a warm welcome at the Expo House helmed by His Excellency Bader Omar Al Dafa.

Upon touring the International Zone of Expo 2023 Doha, the delegations received a comprehensive tour of both the Qatar Pavilion and the Ethiopian Pavilion, where they were treated to traditional Ethiopian delicacies.

The tour also provided invaluable insights into a mosaic of ethnic groups that compose this nation. This rich patchwork of traditions and cultures emphasizes Ethiopia layered  cultural heritage, but also presents a treasure strove of innovative approaches to the development of its economy and the preservation of its ecosystem. Visitors will have the chance to immerse into a unique experience, learning more about the country's historical and archaeological treasures, including insights into potential investment opportunities spanning textiles, pharmaceuticals, mining, and tourism. The pavilion provides a practical exploration of coffee traditions, from raw coffee beans to preparation. Additionally, it features Ethiopia's renowned products such as handicrafts and traditional clothing, alongside vibrant flowers that have become both cultural symbols and trade commodities, reflecting occasions and exported to European and Arab countries.
