  Expo 2023 Doha Celebrates Uganda's National Day

Expo 2023 Doha recently hosted a distinguished event to celebrate the National Day of the Republic of Uganda, exemplifying a significant milestone in international collaboration and cultural exchange. This prestigious event, held at the Congress Center in the Cultural Zone of Expo 2023 Doha, was attended by notable figures like His Excellency Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, His Excellency Bader Al-Dafa, Expo 2023 Doha Commissioner General and His Excellency Francis Mwebesa, Uganda's Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives.

The celebration was a vibrant showcase of Ugandan culture, featuring traditional dances and highlighting the rich heritage of the country. This occasion was further elevated by the warm congratulations extended by His Excellency Bader Al-Dafa who expressed his best wishes for Uganda's continued advancement and prosperity.

His Excellency Bader Al-Dafa emphasised the significance of the event as a testament to the dedication of Ugandan officials to utilise Expo 2023 Doha as a platform for enhancing their bilateral relations with Qatar. This commitment aligns with the overarching goals of the Expo, fostering global cooperation and economic partnership.

Echoing these sentiments, His Excellency Francis Mwebesa acknowledged the robust bilateral relationship between Uganda and Qatar. He commended Expo 2023 Doha for its crucial role in bridging nations, cultures and cultivating economic alliances. The Minister spotlighted Uganda's efforts to bolster its economic ties with Qatar as part of its broader growth strategy.
