Expo 2023 Doha Honors Mexico National Day

Expo 2023 Doha marked the National Day of the United Mexican States with a thrilling celebration, uniting distinguished guests, diplomatic representatives, and the Mexican community in Qatar. Notable figures in attendance included the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, His Excellency Victor Manuel Villalobos, the Ambassador of Mexico to Qatar, His Excellency José Guillermo Ordorica Robles, The Secretary General of Expo 2023 Doha, His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Khoori, and His Excellency, the Expo 2023 Doha Commissioner General, Bader Omar Al Dafa.

The national day celebrations underscored Mexico's status as one of the world's most biologically diverse countries and highlighted Mexico's commitment to sustainability, in effort to conserve its vast array of plant species, including 669 varieties of cactus crucial for soil stabilization, and combating desertification.

Mexico has realized agricultural achievements with its efforts to expand exports sustainably while promoting soil and biodiversity conservation.

His Excellency Victor Manuel Villalobos praised Expo 2023 Doha for spotlighting Mexico's agricultural potential and fostering global partnerships in innovation and sustainability.

The Mexican pavilion, a testament to Mexico's commitment to a green future, exemplifies Expo 2023 Doha's dedication to showcasing innovative solutions and fostering international collaboration in sustainability efforts.
